Chiester 410 is the perfect badass bunny girl anime character, as, along with the other numerical Chiesters, they are very skilled fighters in the series. This super cool bunny anime girl is particularly skilled when it comes to firing control, and she can wield unparalleled combative force even in close-range fighting. On a personal level, Chiester is generally pretty laidback and loves living the hakuna matata lifestyle. She loves to have fun and be carefree, while also ridiculing everyone who actually takes life seriously. One question, would a bunny assassin costume be more appropriate for Easter or for Halloween? A really cute pink loli bunny girl who is a bit of an anime fashion icon! She also gets the best prompt ever, only being able to transform after eating a carrot, her least favorite food. The leader of the band Plasmagica, Chuchu has flowing lavender locks, soft rose coloured eyes and is the secondary guitarist and main vocalist of Plasmagica. She also has big white bunny ears and a fluffy tail to match! Even though she secretly dreams of becoming a solo artist, she adores playing with her bandmates and has real ambition for them, she is the main pushing force for the band. She is quite an in depth and multifaceted character, with conflicting sides to her, making her oddly realistic for a virtual rabbit girl.

It's definitely her colour, not only is she dolled up in the cutest green outfit ever, but it matches her emerald eyes perfectly. She is also named after a french cake, which is the cutest thing after her blonde hair and bunny ears. A master of projectiles, using a bow as her weapon, Vert is an gentle character of the Galette faction who is an airhead at the same time as being a master archer!

Concerned with cleanliness, Charlotte had her personal bath transported all the way to the Strike Witches' Britannia base when she was transferred from the Liberion Army 363rd Fighter Wing. In combat her armament can consist of a M1918 Browning Automatic Rifle, Thompson M1 A1, or Colt Government M1911 A1. Being bestowed with both the powers of adorable bunny ears and CGI swords, she’s definitely a force to be reckoned with. She's also quite a chameleon personality wise, depending on who she spends time with, making her incredibly versatile and a whole range of contradicting characters rolled in to one, which makes her fascinating to watch! Ever since her introduction she has been somewhat of a wild card and she has the coolest battle outfit; she wears white armor with a headgear featuring two fake rabbit ears, and wields a rapier with a jewel mounted in the grip. In the Wailing Demon Territory she wears black rabbit themed armor.

She can be impulsive, easily flustered and can switch hairstyle/colour at will, this adorable bunny girl is definitely one of the most entertaining anime characters to watch! You’ve seen Kaneki’s Marie Antoinette syndrome. Now prepare for “how can she rock both pink and blue hair so perfectly” syndrome. Kurosagi is known as the black rabbit. And is the protagonist of the show. long blue hair, red eyes, and the distinct rabbit ears unique to her race "Moon Rabbit". When emotional or ready to fight, her hair changes colour to a bright pink.

Okay Yoshino might be a bit less bunny girl-ish than the rest on this list. But hear me out. She always carries her handy(pun intended) rabbit puppet with her, as without it she would bring back the Ice Age. And that’s no joke, I haven’t seen separation issues like this since Sora and Shiro. Warning: this anime contains some darker themes, so definitely be aware of that before watching! A very kind and mature manifestation of death, Meroko is just... Meroko. Her love life is a soap opera, she wears a red magician hat with white bunny ears and she is strongwilled, yet soft enough to serve us plenty of lovable scenes as she flutters around Izumi and Takuto. She is one of the most fun characters to watch and observe throughout this dark and different anime!

One of the legendary lunar rabbits, she couldn't not have a mention on this list! Reisen originally fled from the Moon to Earth as a refugee from the "Lunar War" between the two worlds that began in 1969 A.D. after the Apollo 11 "invasion". Who knew the Moon Bunny came in the form of a cute girl! Her powers include Lunacy-inducing eyes, Telepathy with other Moon Rabbits, Manipulation of Wavelengths (Soundwaves and Lightwaves) and Manipulation of Madness. She can control light and sound waves making you see and hear illusions. Her master is also called Kaguya. Are we sure she isn’t an Uchiha? She is said to be at least 38 years old in lunar terms which is actually 262.435 years old in earth terms!

5. Rito Tsukimi from Absolute Duo

The writers really couldn’t decide whether they wanted to make Tsukimi a lovable, goofy/fuzzy character, or a masochistic badass. So they did both. With her bunny ears, fluffy tail, endless energy and bubbly temperment, she could be the biggest sweetheart. But then can we also just appreciate her “All Might” moment after defending the school and giving her students the thumbs up? Such an epic moment, and an epic character. She has electric purple eyes and deep, smoky purple coloured hair. There is so much to love about her!

4. Tabane Shinonono from Infinite Stratos

Tabane is Houki's older sister and the creator of the Infinite Stratos (IS). Tabane is perhaps the most influential character's in the entire series, having created the IS and has played a part in several incidents throughout the story, making her an antagonist in the series near the end. She is also a ball full of energy and very childlike in her ways, running around like a happy kid and referring to herself a genius. She meshes really well with her sister Houki in the anime, who is basically the tsundere queen, with the two playing off each other comedically perfectly. Perhaps she is not the most complex character, but she doesn't need to be. She is a hugely lovable and a positive presence in the show!

3. Alice Shiratori from Moetan

Alice Shiratori is a mysterious magical girl with a grudge against Ah-kun. Her alter-ego is a pop idol and she has the coolest transformation possibly ever! If there’s one thing pop culture has taught me, it’s that taking off your glasses always seems to completely change your appearance. And that flip phones have magical qualities. Alice may seem like your typical girl, well, apart from having green hair. But once she whips out her flip phone she transforms into her bunny-eared pop idol alter ego, complete with blonde hair, bushy tail and magical girl outfit!

2. Haru from Beastars

Haru is a bit more than a bunny girl, in that she is very literally and physically a bunny in her own right and looks straight from the realms of Beatrix Potter! Even though she is a rabbit, she is incredibly human, especially having some very human emotions. The former leader of the Cherryton gardening club and currently studying botany at a university, she is a green fingered soul but is regularly treated as a fragile individual by society. She longs to be seen as her own person, rather than something small and in need of protection. Haru tends to keep people at a distance, even those like Legoshi who want to be closer to her, as she feels that the relationships will end up being fragile and superficial because of her status as a small herbivore. Even though she has issues, she hops tall and does her best to live her life. She carries a great message in that way, by holding her ground and staying true to her values. Her and Legoshi’s relationship is one of the more complex and intriguing ones to be found in anime, and I want to applaud the writers of this show for creating such an in depth character. For these reasons she had to be near the top of our list of anime bunny girls!

1. Mai Sakurajima from Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai

Mai is the main heroine of the Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai series. She is a notable actress/model and a third year at Minegahara High School, the same school as Sakuta Azusagawa. Mai is just a girl who occasionally wears a bunny costume. But the words “bunny girl” are in the title, so it counts. I also wanted to put her on this list because there is a whole lot of amazing character writing where she is concerned. I honestly don’t want to go into the character of Mai, or why she dawns her rabbit wardrobe, as I think you should go into the show blind if you’ve never seen it before. Is it an ecchi rom-com? Yes. Is it brilliant? Definitely. So go and see for yourself why she is Mai best bunny girl.
